How do I upload files to Filekeeper?

You have to use a program called FTP Client to do that. A good free one is FileZilla.

I can upload files with no problem, but when I try to download files via FTP, I am getting very slow speeds

That's how FileKeeper works. You can upload files via FTP without speed limitations, but you should use browser to download files.

Can I customize my File Listing and File Download pages?

Yes, you can add headers and footers to all pages of your account:
  • To place custom HTML code on all File Download pages for a selected folder (to the middle of the download page), you would need to upload a file called filekeeper_dirinfo.html to the desired folder. The contents of this file will be applied to all file download pages in that folder.
  • To place custom HTML code on all File Download pages for a selected folder, you would need to upload files called filekeeper_local_header.html (for header, inserts right after the opening BODY tag) and filekeeper_local_footer.html (for footer) to the desired folder.
  • To place custom HTML code on all File Download pages in all folders, you would need to upload files called filekeeper_global_header.html (for header, inserts right after the opening BODY tag) and filekeeper_global_footer.html (for footer) to the home directory of your account (the very top folder).
You can combine these options in any way. Only standard HTML tags are supported. No scripts and no frames for security reasons, sorry.
